The first time I met Tom Limoncelli at a North Carolina System Administrators/Triangle Linux Users Group joint meeting in 2004, he mentioned he was writing a book about time management for system administrators. It's one of Limoncelli's big points in Time Management for System Administrators. Amazon just posted by 4 star review of Time Management for System Administrators by Thomas A. I once read a book entitled, Time Management for System Administrators, from O'Reilly. The best Linux applications and tools for enterprise systems admininstrators and developers for continuous build, configuration management/ provisioning and version control. Just finished reading Time Management for System Administrators by Thomas A. O'Reilly just published Tom Limoncelli's new book on Time Management for System Administrators, which is kind of a simplified techie approach in the same vein as Getting Things Done. LOPSA has named Time Management for System Administrators as their first ever “book of the month. As part of that, I'd just run through the regular tasks of the System Admin. Book recommendation - I think on Brent Ozar's site - for a 2006 book entitled "Time management for system administrators", by Tom Limoncelli (see his blog at http://everythingsysadmin.com/, he seems like good people). Limoncelli–I have reproduced it below, for those who don't want to click the link here. Tooling doesn't really matter, the important part is being able to remember what the heck I did and when I did it. I highly recommend this book to every System and Network Administrator.
